Rules Of Play
Eligibility
1. 1. Ticket purchasers must be 18 years or older to enter the SickKids Catch the Ace.
2. 2. Ticket purchasers must be located in Ontario at the time of purchase.
3. 3. The following persons are prohibited from purchasing tickets in the SickKids Catch the Ace:
a. SickKids Foundation staff and Board of Directors
b. The Hospital for Sick Children Executive Team and Board of Trustees
c. Employees of registered gaming suppliers
d. Employees of registered technology suppliers
e. And members of the same household of each of the above
Ticket Sales
1. Tickets must be purchased in the province of Ontario.
2. Tickets may be purchased online at SickKidsAce.ca.
3. Tickets will be available beginning at 6:30 p.m., following the previous Weekly Draw. Tickets for the first Weekly Draw on October 8, 2026, will be available upon receipt of the raffle license number from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
4. Tickets are available at the following bundle prices: 3 for $10, 10 for $20, 50 for $50, or 150 for $75.
5. Ticket purchasers will select a virtual envelope number from the remaining unopened envelopes available at the time of purchase. Each envelope contains a hidden playing card from a standard 52 card deck. The number of envelopes available for selection begins with 52 and declines by one each week that the envelope selected by the Weekly Prize winner reveals a playing card other than the Ace of Spades.
6. Each purchaser will select a single envelope. The selected envelope will be associated with all tickets included in the ticket order. Multiple envelopes may not be selected within a single ticket order.
7. There is no limit to the number of tickets available.
8. All tickets will be delivered via email only. It is the responsibility of the ticket purchaser to ensure that they receive their tickets, however, purchasers do not need their tickets in hand to be included in the draws. Draws, Prizes and Winners
1. Ticket sales will conclude each Thursday at 6:00 p.m. at which time all qualified tickets will be confirmed. The sales deadlines for Week 12, Week 13, and Week 39 will be 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2026; Wednesday, December 30, 2026; and Wednesday, June 30, 2027, respectively, to accommodate the respective holidays.
2. A single ticket number will be selected each week by a Random Number Generation (RNG) program, from all raffle ticket numbers sold during the week leading up to the draw. The draw will be electronically conducted from the offices of Raffle Management Group Inc. (registered gaming supplier to SickKids Foundation), at approximately 6:15 p.m.
3. Each Weekly Draw winner will receive a single cash prize equal to 20 percent of all ticket sales receipts collected during the preceding week. Following the Weekly Draw, the playing card within the envelope associated with the winning ticket order will be revealed.
a. If the envelope associated with the winning Weekly Draw ticket reveals the Ace of Spades, the Weekly Draw winner will also receive the Progressive Ace Jackpot, consisting of 30 percent of all receipts collected during the full raffle campaign. The Catch the Ace raffle is then concluded. The Progressive Jackpot will start at $25,000 and this amount will increase as outlined above. Follow the Progressive Jackpot value any time at SickKidsAce.ca.
b. If the envelope associated with the winning Weekly Draw ticket reveals any playing card other than the Ace of Spades, 30 percent of the sales receipts for the week will be added to the Progressive Ace Jackpot. All tickets from the previous week are then voided and ticket sales commence for the next Weekly Draw.
4. The winning ticket number will be posted to SickKidsAce.ca following each Weekly Draw, along with the Weekly Prize amount, and the revealed playing card and envelope number associated with the weekly winning ticket. Winners will also be notified by phone.
5. Ticket holders do not have to be present at the draws in order to win or to claim their prize.
6. Prizes will be secured for a period of six (6) months following each Weekly Draw. Unclaimed prizes will be reported to, and a charitable allocation will be approved by, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
7. The winner must provide their full name, address and phone number upon claiming their prize. Direct deposit information may be required in order to fulfill the payment electronically.
General
1. By purchasing a ticket in the SickKids Catch the Ace, the purchaser acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these rules. All inquiries regarding the conduct, chance of winning, prizing or procedures of lotteries are to be made to SickKids Foundation prior to the purchase of a ticket.
2. All orders will be processed and fulfilled using the BUMP, A Division of CBN raffle management platform. In the event of any discrepancy, the records of BUMP, A Division of CBN shall be deemed correct and final. SickKids Foundation is responsible for the conduct and management of the raffle. The liability of SickKids Foundation shall be limited to the purchase price of the ticket.
Autoplay
Eligible purchasers may opt into the SickKids Catch the Ace Autoplay Program (the “Autoplay Program”) at the time of purchasing Catch the Ace tickets and become subscribers.
1. To subscribe, select the Autoplay option during the check out process and confirm your order details – number of tickets, price, and envelope selection.
2. You will be subscribed for future Weekly Draws using the same payment method provided for your purchase.
3. Your Autoplay subscription purchases will begin with the next Weekly Draw.
4. An account is required for Autoplay management (i.e. cancelling or changing order information) and will be automatically generated when the Autoplay order is created.
a. To sign into your account, a one-time passcode will be sent to the email associated with your account. You will not be required to create or maintain a permanent password.
5. Autoplay orders can be cancelled at any time through your online account. Create and/or access your account at any time by clicking the “Manage Subscription” button in the Autoplay tab at the top of the web page.
a. You can also cancel your subscription by emailing your request to CatchTheAceCS@SickKidsFoundation.com. The request must be sent from the email address you used to opt-in. Cancellations via email may take up to 2 business days to process.
6. If your credit card is declined, your raffle ticket purchase will not be processed, and your Autoplay will be automatically cancelled. To re-subscribe, you must complete the opt-in process once again and provide updated credit card details.
7. The credit card provided by the subscriber will be charged on the Monday preceding each subsequent weekly deadline in the SickKids Catch the Ace program until the Autoplay subscription is cancelled by the subscriber or by SickKids Foundation, in its sole discretion.
8. Additional tickets can be purchased through the regular order and checkout process.

Privacy
1. By claiming a prize, winner consents to the use of their likeness/photograph, first and last name, ticket number, city/town of residence and the audio/video recording (or written transcription) of the winner notification telephone call, for any publicity purposes by SickKids Foundation. SickKids Foundation respects the privacy of its raffle supporters; we do not sell, rent, or trade our supporter lists. The information we collect is used to process raffle ticket purchases, keep our supporters informed about the activities of The Hospital for Sick Children and Foundation, and ask for their support for our mission to improve children’s health.
